The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is alarmed with regard to the higher amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high status sassa variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area regularly. The service point produced for intervention experiences a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out SRD programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
